why is

this important

The only way to survive a Moscow night is to stay warm and safe. People should not die of exposure on the streets or become disabled due to frostbite.

  • 11 921

in 2024 spent the night at the Heating Tents

  • 5032

according to official data died in Moscow

How it

works

The heating point is a big heated tent that fits 50 people. Here, every visitor can stay for a night, being warm and getting a warm dinner. People find out about the Rehabilitation shelter, Consulting service, and an opportunity to escape the streets with the help of professionals from the attendants of the heating point. This is the first nonprofit heating point in the capital.

The launching of the Heating point in Moscow is the result of the collaboration of various people and companies: Samolet group provided us with a site, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints bought us a tent, Obraz Zhizni charity, MK Fond pomoschi charity, and Andrei Chekana donated substantial sums for the opening. Thank you very much, dear friends and colleagues.

The tent is open to prevent people from

getting frostbite and dying on the streets

If someone has nowhere to go, they can spend the night at the Nochlezhka warming center without needing any proof of identity or documents.

The tents are open during the cold season from October to April:

(1)

A person can visit the project just once or stay there every night

(2)

Clients receive a hot meal and counseling from a social worker
