The «We» Theater Studio was founded in 2022. The project’s mission is to break down the stigma surrounding homelessness and change society’s attitude toward people in need. We help homeless people struggling with addiction get off the streets through training, rehearsals, creative evenings, performances, and interaction within the troupe and with the audience. Our productions address socially significant themes.

Clients of the Halfway Home participate in the theater’s productions. The project allows people to see the world through different eyes: to believe in themselves, to trust others, to learn to work as a team, to develop punctuality and responsibility, to broaden their horizons, to learn mutual support, to express their feelings, and to rediscover the joy of life. Clients also gain skills such as public speaking, asking for help, being aware of and understanding their bodies, and learning to relax and manage their time. Through this project, we draw attention to the issue of homelessness.
We invite professionals from the helping professions—including those from government agencies and nonprofit organizations—to speak at our events. This allows us to develop roadmaps, expand our support network, and build a professional community. Through our productions, we are able to highlight the stories of different people and separate the individual from the problem.
